WARRANTY

WHAT WE COVER

ALL KNOPF WATCHES ARE DELIVERED WITH A 3-YEAR WARRANTY THAT COVERS THE REPAIR OF ANY MATERIAL OR MANUFACTURING DEFECTS. PLEASE REFER TO THE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR SPECIFIC INFORMATION ABOUT THE WARRANTY CONDITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS.

Every KNOPF watch is warranted for a period of three (3) years. It covers material and manufacturing defects existing at the time of delivery. During the warranty period and by presenting the purchase receipt and certificate of authenticity, you will have the right to have any defect repaired free of charge. This includes the repair or replacement of any spare parts and/or rectifying any faults as identified by our Customer Service. In the event that repairs are unable to restore the normal conditions of use of your KNOPF watch, KNOPF guarantees its replacement by an KNOPF watch of identical or similar characteristics. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage caused by accidents or negligence. The warranty is rendered void if work is carried out on the watch by persons who are not an Authorized Swiss Service Center.

We also offer a 1-year replacement guarantee. If your watch stops working within the first year of owning it, we'll send you a brand-new replacement.

WHAT WE DO NOT COVER

The KNOPF international warranty does not cover:

a. Defects and damage due to loss, theft or fire or other causes beyond our control;
b. Defects and damage resulting from misuse or negligence or accident;
c. Defects and damage caused by improper use (knocks, dents, crushing to the case or crystal, etc.), alterations, tampering, dismantling or services and repairs completed by anyone else than an authorized KNOPF boutique, KNOPF retailer or KNOPF repair center, or by the use of components other than those recommended by KNOPF;
d. Defects and damage due to fair wear and tear;
e. Fair wear and tear of non-metallic straps or bracelets (leather, rubber synthetic polymer, etc.);
f. Watches where the serial number originally imprinted on the watch case is removed or not clearly legible, or where any part of the original watch back or any original number has been removed, changed, altered, replaced, erased or defaced;
g. Routine maintenance and cleaning;

HOW DO I RECEIVE WARRANTY SERVICE?

Contact us at support@knopfwatches.com to initiate your request for warranty service. Please include the serial number along with a description of the repair issue. Once proper confirmation has been made that a warranty service is valid, we will make arrangements with an Authorized Swiss Repair Service Center to receive your watch. A shipping label will be provided to you. You will be responsible for securely packaging your watch for shipment and to provide your full name and return address.
